Terms of use

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses Alluwa: a daara’s management, teachers, parents and visitors to the public pages.

Alluwa is published by Oumar DIOP. It is a management platform for daaras: Quran follow-up, schooling, finances, links with families and a public page for each daara.

Alluwa is free for daaras and for families, with no subscription and no advertising. It is funded by donations, which are always optional.

If the daara turns on online payment of school fees, payments go through its own PayTech account, with that provider’s fees.

A daara gets access to Alluwa once the Alluwa team has approved its request. Its management then creates the accounts of its staff and families.

Each account is personal: keep your password to yourself. The Alluwa team may suspend an account or a daara whose use goes against these terms or the law.

The daara is responsible for the information it enters and publishes: its accuracy, families’ consent for photos of children, and compliance with the law. Alluwa does not check this content.

Each user is responsible for what they record with their account.

Alluwa is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability. The team takes care that it works and backs up the database every night, but a failure or maintenance may interrupt the service.

Remember to export your important documents regularly (Excel, PDF).

How personal data is processed is described in the privacy policy.

These terms may change with the service. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.

For any question, or to exercise your rights, write to the Alluwa team.
